California iconVintage Beverly Hills Hotel Key Fob
The Beverly Hills Hotel is a classic gift hotel, and it is also a classic place to get fooled. On Nov 4, 2026 a brand-new brass hexagon key, current hotel merchandise, was listed on eBay at $95. It is not an old key.

What to look for
Before you buy a Beverly Hills Hotel key.
- New brass keys are sold as merchandise. They are not the same thing as an old room key from the hotel.
- The one genuine-looking listing we saw does not say what metal the fob is made of. Ask.
- Ask for the era, the room number and clear photos of the engraving or casting.
- If a price looks too good for a famous hotel, assume it is a reproduction until the seller proves otherwise.
Not sure it’s genuine? Read how to spot a real one. Thinking of a gift? See the key from the hotel where you were married.
